Key Advantages of Baumit PuraTop
Unlimited Coloring Possibilities
One of the key advantages of Baumit PuraTop is its ability to be tinted in any of the 852 colors from the Baumit Life catalog. This offers endless possibilities for personalization, allowing architects and property owners to select the perfect shade that best matches their preferences and architectural requirements. Whether you are looking for a soft pastel tone or a bold and vivid color, Baumit PuraTop delivers.
Intense and Durable Colors
Thanks to innovative cool pigment technology, Baumit PuraTop ensures exceptional color stability. These special pigments reflect a greater portion of solar radiation, reducing facade heating and preventing color fading. This means that even intense and dark tones maintain their original appearance for an extended period.
Excellent Technical Properties
Baumit PuraTop boasts impressive technical characteristics that ensure reliability and durability:
- Water vapor permeability: With a value of approximately 70-80, the plaster allows walls to “breathe,” preventing moisture accumulation and mold growth.
- Sd value: Around 0.3 m, indicating high vapor permeability and effective moisture regulation in walls.
- Water absorption (W value): Approximately 0.07 W3, making it highly water-repellent and resistant to weather conditions.
- Adhesion strength: Above 0.3 MPa, ensuring strong adhesion to the substrate and resistance to mechanical impacts.
- Fire reaction classification: A2 s1 d0, meaning it is non-combustible and does not contribute to flame spread.
Easy and Efficient Application
Baumit PuraTop is a ready-to-use paste plaster that applies easily and evenly. Before application, the product should be stirred with a low-speed construction mixer to achieve a homogeneous consistency. It should be applied edge to edge, smoothed to the grain size, and structured according to the desired texture. For optimal setting and drying, application is recommended on the shaded side of the building at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
Variety of Textures and Consumption Rates
Baumit PuraTop offers various textures and grain sizes, allowing for diverse visual effects:
- Texture K 1.5: Grain size 1.5 mm, consumption ~2.5 kg/m², coverage ~10 m² per bucket.
- Texture K 2: Grain size 2.0 mm, consumption ~2.9 kg/m², coverage ~8.6 m² per bucket.
- Texture K 3: Grain size 3.0 mm, consumption ~3.9 kg/m², coverage ~6.4 m² per bucket.
This variety allows users to choose the most suitable texture and consumption based on the specific project requirements.
