GKB - Knauf Gypsum Boards Type A - Standard

The standard GKB boards from Knauf consist of gypsum, with their surface and edges along the length covered with a special, durable cardboard. They are marked with a blue stamp on the back of the board. Knauf boards are fire-resistant and provide high-efficiency fire protection even at minimal thickness. Additionally, they offer excellent sound insulation properties.

Application:

Used for cladding walls and ceilings on metal frame constructions, lining of partition walls, and suspended ceilings.

Features:

Type A according to BDS EN 520, fire reaction class A2-s1d0 according to BDS EN 13501-1. Gypsum construction boards consist of a gypsum core, wrapped and securely bonded with a strong, durable layer of paper. The type of paper surface may vary depending on the application and specific board type, while the core may contain additives to provide additional properties.
