Usage
From -10°C and in high humidity – especially recommended for work in low temperatures, when the drying time of cement adhesives takes significantly longer.
Properties
- Coverage: 10 m² - 100% more than traditional cement adhesives.
- Hardening after approximately 2 hours – speeds up the process of insulation installation. When used with CT 84 and Ceresit Ceretherm Express insulation system, the work can be reduced by up to 5 days. 15% higher bonding strength than traditional cement adhesives.
- Low secondary expansion.
- Excellent for use in a "insulation over insulation" system – 1 m² of expanded polystyrene tiles are fixed with 100 g of CT 84 adhesive compared to 5 kg of cement adhesive.
- Improves insulation properties – compared to traditional cement adhesives, CT 84 has similar insulation characteristics to polystyrene and mineral wool.
- High homogeneity of the adhesive thanks to the metal ball in the bottle, preventing the formation of large air bubbles.
Description
CT 84 is used for fixing expanded polystyrene panels in a complete Ceresit Ceretherm Express insulation system, filling gaps between EPS panels, connecting panels in an insulation system, fixing panels in an "insulation over insulation" system, and securing external window sills (after surface cleaning). The product is ready for use, applied easily with a gun, and ensures a clean and fast work process without dust.
