Baumit PuraColor can be applied on lime-cement and cement renders, leveling compounds, concrete, and other mineral surfaces. It is also compatible with existing dispersion, silicate, or mineral paints with good adhesion. Before application, the substrate must be stable, dry, clean, and dust-free. For more complex surfaces (e.g., chalking or algae-infected areas), prior treatment with appropriate primers or cleaning products from Baumit is recommended.
Application Method
The product should be thoroughly stirred with a slow-speed mixer until a uniform consistency is achieved. The first coat is diluted with 10–15% clean water and used as a primer. After a minimum drying time of 12 hours, a second coat is applied—either undiluted or with up to 5% water. Application can be done with a roller, brush, or airless spray machine. For even results, apply without interruptions and preferably on the shaded side of the building, at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
