The first coat is applied as a primer – diluted with up to 15% water, and the second coat is applied undiluted or with up to 5% added water depending on the required consistency.
The paint is suitable for a variety of substrates, including lime-cement and cement plasters, concrete, and existing dispersion or silicate coatings that are well-adhered. It is not suitable for plastics, lime plasters, wood, metal, or highly elastic paints.
Substrate Preparation and Working Conditions
For optimal results, it is crucial that the surface is dry, stable, free of dust, salts, grease, and unstable areas. Depending on the condition, it can be treated with products like Baumit MultiPrimer or Baumit SanovaPrimer to strengthen and equalize absorbency.
The product should not be used at temperatures below +5°C or above +30°C. The façade must also be protected from direct sunlight, wind, and rain during application and drying, as external factors can cause color inconsistencies.
