Applications and Compatibility
Baumit CreativeTop Fine is ideal as a finishing coat on:
- New and existing mineral renders and skim coats
- Concrete surfaces
- Organically bound plasters and renders
- External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS)
- Well-adhering paints and coatings based on mineral, silicate, or dispersion systems
Note: Not suitable for fresh lime plasters, synthetic or oil-based coatings, glue-bound paints, or weakly bonded surfaces.
Substrate Preparation
For optimal results, the substrate should be:
- Stable and load-bearing
- Clean, dry, and dust-free
- Free from loose particles and formwork oil residues
- Treated with a suitable primer such as Baumit UniPrimer, especially on absorbent or chalking surfaces
In case of mold or algae contamination, treatment with specialized products like Baumit FungoFluid is recommended.

Application Method
The plaster should be thoroughly mixed with a slow-speed stirrer before application. If necessary, up to 1% clean water may be added. Apply evenly and continuously using the chosen technique – by hand with a trowel, structured brush, or spray application.
