The surface layer gives the plaster high strength and resistance to mechanical damage, combined with guaranteed color fastness.
The plaster has the ability to "self-clean." Nanoparticles on the surface prevent common environmental pollutants from adhering or penetrating deeply into the plaster's structure, making it easy for them to be washed away by rain or carried away by the wind.
