Vapor Barrier with Reflective Aluminum Layer
A highly vapor-impermeable membrane with an aluminum layer that reflects heat back into the occupied under-roof space, saving energy for heating. It prevents the penetration of water vapor from the interior of the building into the thermal insulation.
In the structure of an unventilated pitched roof, the placement of a vapor-impermeable layer on the internal (warm) side of the thermal insulation, in combination with a vapor-permeable, water-impermeable membrane on the external (cold) side, prevents the appearance of moisture and the formation of condensation in the thermal insulation and ensures the full functionality of the LDS system.
