Polymer-Cement Waterproofing
Knauf H PRO 100 is a waterproof membrane characterized by high vapor permeability. It complies with the EN 1504-2 standard and is suitable for balconies, terraces, water tanks, underground walls, elevator shafts, and irrigation channels.
Applications:
- Exterior walls of underground rooms
- Interior walls of underground rooms
- Elevator shafts
- Irrigation channels
- Concrete tanks
- Wastewater tanks
Characteristics:
- Vapor permeability
- Excellent adhesion
- Low absorption of capillary moisture
Composition:
The product contains sand, cement, fine fillers, redispersible powder, and other additives.
Storage:
The product should be stored in its original packaging in a cool place, protected from cold and high temperatures, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Keep away from direct sunlight. The shelf life is 12 months.
Application
Preparation:
The surface must be clean, dry, solid, homogeneous, frost-free, and without cracks, grease, and oils. Remove layers that could reduce adhesion. Before application, dampen the surface and wait for the excess water to evaporate.
Application:
The material is applied with a brush or trowel. The minimum thickness should be about 2 mm, applied in at least 2-3 layers. Special attention should be paid to proper application in corners. The next layer should be applied after the previous one has dried (approximately 5 hours depending on climatic conditions).
Working Temperature:
The air, material, and substrate temperature during application should be between 5°C and 25°C.
Special Notes:
- Not intended for solving condensation problems on interior walls.
- Do not apply on contaminated mineral substrates, wooden bases, elastic and painted surfaces.
- Do not apply in areas with visible water traces.
- Freshly applied material should be protected from wind and sun.
Material Consumption:
Approximately 1.6 kg/m².
Technical Data:
- Adhesion to the substrate: >1 N/mm²
- Capillary water absorption coefficient: < 0.1 kg/m² h⁰.⁵
- Water vapor diffusion resistance coefficient: <5 m
