Knauf H PRO 200 is a two-component flexible waterproofing based on cement and polymers. It meets the requirements of standard EN 14891. Suitable for application in basements, terraces, balconies, and bathrooms. It can be used on concrete and brick surfaces, as well as cement screeds and plasters. It is designed to fill fine cracks.
Properties:
- Flexibility
- Excellent adhesion
- Water resistance
- Protection from carbonation and salt effects
- Can be applied with a brush and trowel
Composition:
Contains sand, cement, fine fillers, liquid dispersion, and other additives.
Application Areas:
- Suitable for internal and external applications.
- For the protection of basement walls.
- For preparation before laying ceramic tiles.
- Suitable for bathrooms, balconies, terraces, and swimming pools.
- Can be applied on lime-cement plasters, cement screeds, and lightweight concrete blocks.
- Suitable for old ceramic bases if they are clean, dry, and sound.
- For protecting concrete and plaster from water penetration through fine cracks.
- For the renovation of concrete surfaces.
- For protection from contact with seawater.
Material Consumption:
Approximately 2 kg/m²
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from freezing and direct sunlight, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Shelf life: 12 months.
Quality:
The product undergoes continuous quality control according to standard EN 14891 and has CE marking.
Preparation:
The surface must be clean, dry, sound, homogeneous, without cracks, grease, and oils. Remove layers that may reduce adhesion. Before application, moisten the surface and wait for the excess water to evaporate.
Mixing:
The contents of one bag are mixed with the liquid component (350 g of liquid component per 1 kg of dry mix). Mix with a mixer, let it sit for 5 minutes, and then mix again.
Application:
Apply with a brush or trowel. The minimum thickness should be about 2 mm, and the material should be applied in 2-3 layers. Pay special attention to the corners, where a waterproof tape Flächendichtband should be placed between layers. The next layer is applied after the previous one has dried (about 5 hours, depending on conditions).
Working Temperature:
During application, the air, material, and substrate temperature should be between 5°C and 25°C.
Special Notes:
- Plasters and screeds must be dry before applying the waterproofing. Drying takes 7 days for each centimeter of thickness.
- For external and heavy-duty surfaces, as well as pools, it is recommended to use fiberglass mesh in the first layer.
- Not suitable for dirty mineral substrates, elastic or painted surfaces.
- Not resistant to UV radiation and cannot be used as a finishing layer.
- Freshly applied material should be protected from wind and sun.
