Knauf Oxxi S 1.5 is a ready-to-use, water-dispersible finishing facade plaster, designed specifically for contact facade systems with EPS.
Application: It is suitable for finishing facade systems with EPS thermal insulation panels.

Composition:
It includes a dispersion resin without plasticizers, enriched with marble particles, a special combination of fillers, water, additives, preservatives, and pigments.
Storage and Transportation:
It is recommended to protect it from freezing, high temperatures, and direct sunlight. Stored in its original packaging, in a dry and cool place (between +5°C and +25°C), the plaster is stable for storage for up to 12 months. The product undergoes constant quality control and carries the CE marking.
Preparation:
Before starting work, sensitive to contamination surfaces must be protected. After application, the material must be protected from moisture, rain, excessive rapid drying, direct sunlight, and strong wind by appropriate protective measures, such as using scaffolding and protective sheets.
Surface preparation includes ensuring its stability, dryness, uniformity, and absence of dust, grease, and oils. Before applying the plaster, a compatibility check between existing materials and Oxxi is necessary. If necessary, removal of incompatible materials is recommended.
It is recommended to apply Quarzgrund primer before application. The base, which has been covered with primer and/or reinforcing filler, must be completely dry. Wet or partially dry surfaces can damage applied materials. The primer must dry for at least 12 hours before applying the facade plaster. It should be tinted in a suitable shade close to that of the finishing plaster.
Execution:
Before starting application, it is important to check color consistency. When using tinted plasters, it is advisable for the material to be from a single production batch. Mixing materials from different batches is necessary before use. The material must be thoroughly stirred before use. If necessary to adjust consistency, a small amount of water can be added.
The plaster is applied with a stainless steel trowel, then structured evenly and continuously with a plastic trowel. The type of tool used can affect the structure of the plaster, so using the same tool throughout the application process is recommended.
If necessary, the finishing plaster Oxxi can be painted with Knauf Fassadol facade paint. To avoid unwanted "bleeding," it is important to ensure a sufficient number of workers at different levels of the scaffold and to adhere to the "wet on wet" principle during plaster application. Tools should be cleaned immediately after use with water.
Drying Time:
Under ideal conditions, the drying time is 1 day for (mm) thickness of the applied layer. In adverse weather conditions, the drying time may be extended. After approximately 14 days under favorable conditions, the material will be completely dry.
Temperature Conditions for Work:
The plaster should not be applied at air and base temperatures below +5°C and above +25°C. Also, applying the material on heated surfaces is not recommended.
